Your flaming song lost in the black ocean space of a
sky
It sounds like beautiful death
You, molecule of an ancient deity
Rubbed into the dark Ocean Space—
With a feathery glowing mane
I worship your imagined hugeness with my
Brain’s bumbling acknowledgements of incomprehension
Perhaps not too far away too swallow me
With a Godly ‘gulp’
Where do you go in the day?
Are you nestled in an eyelid?
Or am I too absorbed in my own?
Intoxicated by the blue oxygen and
Our Elephant egos, patrolling the skies
Perhaps you are still up there, smirking
With your tiny bright bit of
An angel’s face
