Philip Glass

The Hours. One of my favorite pieces by Glass. Notably for the portion that begins right after the minute mark. Celestial. Here's another of my favorites. A bit more out there. (But I like "out there.") Wait it out until the end.


Very interesting piece. One fellow artist said about Glass that his music went beyond music itself but into the realm of exploring "how we listen to music." Fascinating stuff.

I leave for Alaska on Friday and then the lake for a week. I'll try to post another time or two before then.
